You might find yourself here because of…

A strong inner desire to live healthy and whole.

Fatigue from relational burnout at home, with friends, organizationally, or within yourself.

Shame related to crippling addiction, past trauma, or a strong inner critic.

Spiritual homelessness, questioning, or trauma.

Fear of the unknown, of being “too much” or “too little,” or simply not knowing where to begin but knowing things need to shift.

Individual Therapy

Although specializing in work with men and teens, I work with a variety of presentations, life experiences, and demographics. Clients who have worked with me would tell you that my approach to them is warm, gentle, curious, direct, and deeply relational. It is my belief that what is broken in relationship is healed in relationship. Clients value the relationship that they form with me, and the transformative work that happens when relational vulnerability is matched with unwavering relational security.

Adolescent/Family Therapy

I am passionate about working with adolescent populations, and have extensive experience supporting teens from all backgrounds. My wife and I ran a youth home for teenage girls for nearly four years, serving as care providers that met their unique needs day in and day out. We also worked closely to support families as a unit, coming alongside parents and siblings to bridge gaps and foster healthy relationship. Teens that work with me say I am safe, fun, relatable, and authentic in my approach to them. Parents say that I am trustworthy, resourceful, and highly collaborative.

Couples Therapy

I bring a balanced effort in addressing the surface issues that are likely bringing you to therapy together while helping you stay curious about the underlying narratives that are driving the behaviors. My approach to couples work is rooted in attachment theory and narrative therapy. You will gain insight into how your individual stories highlight fears of being unheard or unseen, which in turn impact how you are showing up in relationship. Couples I have worked with share that they feel equally heard and challenged, and name that they experience me as disruptively kind.

Clinical Supervision

I offer clinical supervision to LPCC’s and interns in Colorado looking to expand their clinical training and deepen their clinical reach. My supervision is heavily relational, focusing on the whole person of the therapist rather than just their clinical mind. Major emphasis is placed on countertransference experiences with clients, and how this serves to deepen insight into client needs and positive therapeutic outcomes. Supervisees describe me as relational, available, and clinically enriching.
